Niko LEUNG Hong-Ken (b. 1986, Hong Kong) is a Chinese designer graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven, the Netherlands, Department Man & Leisure in 2011, where she developed her interest in research, fantasy & craft. After a few years abroad, a strong desire of knowing about her cultural and art root has taken her to Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of China, to undertake an internship at The Pottery Workshop. Followed by her graduation, she was selected to participate for a short residency at European Ceramic Work Center (EKWC), where one of her exam projects was being realized. Currently, she is a trainee at Royal Tichelaar Makkum, the oldest ceramics manufacturer in The Netherlands, to further practise and get herself prepared to work independently in the near future.
